Your blog posts and pics have been good fun; so I'm eager to discuss many things in detail when you guys return to terra firma.
Until then, I must say...your observations and enthusiasms [that's probably not an acceptable word, but I don't care] are so similar to my early-life adventure in the Peace Corps...training in East Los Angeles and Puerto Rico, flying to South America from New York, collecting our teams in Lima, and ultimate assignment in the Andes mountains and Amazon jungle of Peru.
The cultural things, the food, the people, the luggage, the geography, the hassles...all the same. Just in different shapes and colors.
We earthlings are truly one people -- even though we seem to be fighting to deny it.
